Learn about the active land-care and resource management programmes in place as Kachana Pastoral Company, scientists, researchers and Aboriginal individuals work towards preserving these 'Islands of Biodiversity and Cultural heritage'.

At Faraway bay you will spend your days boating and walking to ancient Aboriginal sites looking at the mysterious and magnificent Bradshaw paintings and other forms of Aboriginal rock art. Faraway Bay is rich in Aboriginal culture and provides a 6000-year coastal inland insight as well as an earlier insight into Pleistocene inland Aboriginal culture.
